About Penthwell Farm

​​Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Penthwell Farm is more than a working farm — it’s a place where people, animals, and the land come together to learn, grow, and connect.

As the home of Penthwell Dog Training, our farm is a hub for joyful, reward-based learning. We specialise in scent detection for pet dogs, fun gundog training, life skills, and school-dog training — all designed to build confidence, deepen understanding, and strengthen the bond between dogs and their humans.

Our beloved Labrador, Trudy, a certified Therapy Dog, supports SEN children and young people through animal-assisted learning, offering comfort, calm, and connection through her gentle nature. On designated days, we offer 1:1 SEN sessions with a qualified and experienced SEN professional, alongside small-group sessions and seasonal SEN-friendly events.

At Penthwell Farm, we believe in inclusive learning and in empowering people through meaningful rural experiences. From sustainable farming and outdoor education to animal interaction, animal-assisted learning, and teaching practical rural skills, every part of the farm is rooted in community, wellbeing, and the joy of nature.
