Introduction to Scent Detection Discover the incredible power of your dog's nose! Does your dog love sniffing around the park, have lots of energy, need a confidence boost, or enjoy learning new things? Are you looking for a fun, low-impact activity that strengthens your bond and provides valuable mental enrichment? If so, our 3-week Introduction to Scent Detection course is the perfect place to start. Scent Detection allows dogs to use their natural instincts in a rewarding and engaging way. Using positive, reward-based training, you'll learn how dogs experience the world through scent, how to channel their energy constructively, and how scentwork can build confidence, focus, and teamwork. Whether you have a puppy, adolescent, senior, or reactive dog, this sport is suitable for almost every dog and handler. Come and be amazed by your dog's incredible nose as you learn to work together as a team to search for hidden treasures! What's Included? • Tailored 1:1 attention for both dog and handler within a small-group setting. We look at every dog as an individual, no "one size fits all" approach but a bespoke training approach • Flexible, adaptive training Training is adjusted to suit your dog's individual needs, experience, and learning style. • Supportive WhatsApp group Ask questions, share progress, and receive encouragement between sessions. • Video analysis and photos Receive videos and images of your dog working so you can celebrate their progress. • Detailed follow-up notes After each class you'll receive clear information on what was covered and how to continue practising at home. • Ongoing guidance We work at a pace that feels comfortable for both you and your dog.
